I'm looking for a piece of tackle that may or may not exist. Does anyone know of a clip that is meant to be attached/detached mid way along line rather than as a terminal connection? Once attached the clip should run freely along the line. It needs to be attachable without having to cut off the terminal hook/sinker

you can also make one from a piece of leader. tie a bowline around your main and use the tag end for whatever you needed it for. this will run freely along the line without causing any wear. will cost way less than a piece of tackle.
