Went for a couple of hours. No catfish today. Switched to corn and promptly caught 8 carp ranging in size from 8 pounds to 20 pounds. All returned safe to water

Welcome to the Forum, Bilgebreath. I don't target them but do enjoy it when I get a big one on. I caught about a 20#er while fishing sunfish with a 3# fly rod when I was in my early teens. My dad yelled, "cut the line, he will break your rod". I didn't, and I was able to land him after about 20 minutes. Dad smoked him, he was good.
Welcome to FS.
Have you tried color dying your corn hot pink?
Where are the pictures 📷
Bilgebreath????? That’ll leave a bad taste in your mouth…😜🤣😂🐟
I was fishing alone and was the only person at the lake. Tuff to hold fish and take pics.Took a couple with fish on the ground. Big carp trashed my cheepie net. One regular carp pic and one grass carp pick.

What was your set up for fishing for them
I use a packbait recipe and setup. There are a few thousand youtubes about how to do this. My main ingredients are outmeal and cream corn. Check it out.

I do the same thing. Do you use a hair rig? I use a # 10 treble hook have not caught one on a hair rig yet
Sometimes. Have used corn, boilies and tiger nuts but corn seems to do the best job.
