The Professor caught a Striper yesterday!

So now we are two for two, we each got one we couldn't keep and we both got one we could keep!
Not that we are keeping score. Maybe he is, because he brought it up! LOL
He said it was the first time he ever caught stripers using a yellow ....think he called it a donkey tail!?
Looked more like a cheer leaders pom pom to me! LOL

Good mornin', FT. I can see his pom pom on the seat behind him in the first picture. So, is he now, Dr. Fish?

Nice Striper, congrats! Were you trolling? If so, check your regulations to see if umbrella or Alabama rigs are legal there as those are effective with chartreuse paddle tails as well.

That pom pom looks like type of bucktail with rubber trailers iso feather. I have a few in yellow and white.

Thanks! We live rural out in the country in South Carolina and do most fishing in fresh on the Santee Cooper Lakes, Moultrie and Marion.
Hope you don't have to wait much longer. I sure got the Striper fever now which makes the waiting on the next one even harder than before you got the first one!

That's a standard bucktail. Plenty of different fish go for those. A go-to lure for many, mostly white.
