Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout for Idaho !
The huge trout, caught out of the Snake River, measured 31 inches - it beat the former record of 30.5 inches caught by Sam Hix just weeks before.
WHAT A MONSTER ! I WANNA CATCH TROUT LIKE THAT WHEN I GROW UP !
We have some world class trout fisheries here. Well worth the trip but come after the ice goes out and before the end August/middle of September. My best cutthroat so far is 7 pounds. A little less than half the size of the picture you posted. We call em footballs here. Good eatin too.
