Couple of fast moving little cold fronts passing through. Got some rain during the night, but it looked like I had about a 6 hour window to sneak out on the water before the next one.
Conditions were nice at launching. Air temp holding at 34, water was 46, and a little bit of sun making its presence known.
Caught about 15 smallmouth, nothing huge but all willing to fight. Of course some little trout wanted to join in on the fun… then the bigger Laker’s wanted to show who was king… caught 7 nice Lakers, all between 12-17 lbs. Was able to get a couple big Lakers passing under the boat on the sonar. Just another lucky day on the water. Hope you all enjoy pics. Tight lines to all

Absolutely splendid outing with magnificent fishing! What a great bunch of fish caught...and while the smallmouth and lake trout are impressive...that cutthroat is definitely a head turner! I am very thankful to be able to "tune in" to this channel...which offers the very best in fishing adventures, entertainment and education!

My wife and I drove along a portion of Flathead Lake a few years ago on a cross Country trip to Vancouver BC. I wondered in my head about how one would tackle such a large body of water and achieve any success. Now I know! Obviously you have cracked the code! Yee Hah!

It might be time for me to take Frank Zappa's advice pretty soon and move to Montana...only to become a fishing tycoon!

Nice fish. Interesting spot pattern your fish have there. All the cutthroat I have caught in Washington have the spots going the full length of the fish. Is that pattern typical for there?
