Try Lake Lochloosa or Newnans Lake with match the hatch fresh caught wild golden shiners! This time of year tadpoles are hatching and frogs might be the best bait for summer. Wet a line and find out?

If your not in a hurry catch some bait with dough balls right where your fishing at! Fresh caught, the right size and no scales knocked off! Put a cork on @ 2-3 feet and let the shiner roam around fishy spots. Before long you will know where the bass beds are and where not to fish! Match the hatch works on little ponds too. Hold On and Set the Hook! Then try artificial baits on secret spots. HA

Here`s the thing, if golden shiners are in the water your fishing that's the hi-protein bass want most! Now if none there, use what you`ve caught for bait there and let match the hatch work for ya! Keep in mind big baits get big fish. Store bought are like 4" wild caught like 6" or more and are great search baits! They will swim all over and show you where the big girls hide?
