Dave took his small daughter with him to work one day...

After he introduced all the other employees to her she began to cry. He asked her what the matter was and she said,

"You told Mom that you work with a bunch of clowns. Where are they?"

Lol. Hopefully she didn't ask it in front of them. However, had it been my daughter there's no way that would have happened. She probly would have even waited till the boss was present as well.

My daughter was 4 or 5. We went to the San Diego Zoo and when we got to the parking lot as we walked along she was looking up into the trees, obviously looking for something. I asked her what she was looking for. She explained that she had heard me say that the parking lot had a lot of bums hanging out there. She was looking for bums hanging from the trees.
While in the Zoo we saw a giant male African elephant pretty up close. Having seen Dumbo, her eyes got way big and she asked me very seriously, "Daddy is he gonna fly?"

Reminds me of our 4 year old granddaughter when my wife was in her early 40's.
Grand daughter says to my wife "You're old."
My wife says "No I am not"
Grand daughter say " Yes you are, look at your face!"

Current 4 yr old granddaughter:
She is looking at my wife's head with a magnifying glass and says "Grandma you have a big head"
Her mother says "That must mean that grandma has a big brain."
My wife says "That must mean that I am very smart"
Grand daughter looks at my wife's head again with the magnifying glass and says "Your head is not really that big you must not be very smart!"
