Cam, L4, L5, is where my spine is damaged. I take 500mg Tylenol tabs and 600mg Gabapentin for my pain and it does ease up the pain. There are also special shoes made for easier walking. Like I wrote, y’all are always in my prayers.

Thanks Hack, she takes tylenol and ibuprofen and also has oxycodone and morphine but hates how they make her feel

Thank you Mark. After both my surgeries, morphine was my best buddy, but I can appreciate how it makes her feel. Thanks for the update too. I’ll update my Sunday school class.

Thanks for asking, Cam, she developed an allergy to Keytruda, went on Updeva, and that became toxic to her. The two immunotherapies cured the cancer, it is in remission. But, she has nothing to keep it out of her system, so, all they can do is to monitor it once a month with an MRI and a CAT scan. The allergy and the toxicity caused a great deal of damage to all of her joints and she still has Hand & Foot Syndrome, which causes her a great deal of grief. She can not do very much at all, I'm her full-time care provider, and I would imagine that you take complete care of Betty too.

WOW FG. Best wishes for your wife also brother. So often I see the wife being the caregiver. It's hard either way. I keep all of Bug's meds straight n try to keep her on a diabetic diet is a handful. You n Cam are strong ole boys 👍👍

You find out they are NOT all the same. After two strikes, (and a lot of lessons learned) I got a keeper and will celebrate 39 years married in about two weeks
with Myrna. She has the patience of Job (in the Bible). Lol

You're lucky Randy. Bug has the patience of NONE. Except when it comes to getting ready to go somewhere. 2hr min between looking at FB n tv it's usually 3 + . Everything else she wants done yesterday 🥴

Betty's doctor is changing her from opdivo to keytruda this week so we will see how that goes.
And yes it's full time care

I prefer to call it “blessed”, rather than “luck”, but in either case, I am truly grateful for all I have, even though I know I don’t deserve it.

There is a song that says: I don’t know why Jesus loved me... Oh but I’m glad, so glad He did.
