22 Fiery Redhead Facts

1) As a redhead, it can be hard to go through life without hearing myths and stereotypes about your red hair. From being considered a witch in the Middle Ages to being a fiery seductress, redheads have heard it all. Yet, even throughout history, red hair has held an enigmatic appeal and attraction.

2) Approximately 1-2% of humans, or about two in 100 people in the world, have red hair.

3) The ancient Greeks believed that redheads would turn into vampires after they died.

Initially, I was planning to send this to my daughter who recently gave birth to a little girl with reddish hair. After reading I decided against it for obvious reasons. He husband has red hair.

She tried to tell me what to do. When I didn't listen and do it, she said I would never amount to anything. Surprised her and retired a manager in the DOD. After my divorce from her daughter she said on her cancer death bed that she now realized I was ok and not the lies of her daughter. This was told to me and my wife of over 45 years by my ex's TWIN who was the only one of the two to help care for their mother. I really loved that woman. History now.
