Austin: I am too far away to be direct help. However, if you google your state's Game and Fish Commission for their fishing reports, they probably publish one monthly. Just Sayin...RJS

Austin. I have been there but never dropped a line in the water in the dam itself. I have fished below the dam and caught some nice small mouth. Try checking the local tackle shops. Most of them will tell you where the locals are catching and what to use

Try trolling crawler harnesses in the bays shallower waters. Jigging with minnows or crawler pieces also. Start at shallow end of bays and drift out. Casting crank baits toward shore works for bass and sometimes pike. I’ve seen boats out in main lake trolling but I’ve never had any luck in the deeper waters. Trolling very slow with weighted blade runners like road runners tipped with minnow or crawler piece works too.

Good luck! I just pulled the batteries out of my Lund for the year. I have a house on the allegheny south of Warren. So I fish the river, Kinzua and Chautaqua lake NY. Tough year! Lots of bass in the river but the walleye bite eluded me. Limited out one day on Kinzua Seneca nation waters , the following week I couldn’t catch a fish!
