I would like to find information on the best times to fish the Dungeness. Where is that available?

It's been a long time but we usually set the pots on the way out to troll for salmon. Pick them up on the way back in. This was at Belfare.

Hello Phyllis ,I don't your area but are you fishing from a boat or a pier? From the pier we wait for high tide to soak our pots, from a boat pretty much anytime, we sometimes use chicken legs/ thighs ,the seals will leave the pots alone, inshore we use commercial grade clam bait.Good luck,,

I apologize Phyllis !! Jumped to conclusion about Dungies You were asking about the Dungeness RIVER !😮, hopefully someone else will be along to help you out,, what about Washington State Fish and Game? Or a local tackle shop in that area,,,,
