Never fished the area, I will be walking distance to the Schroon River. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I understand trout are still active. I will of course have waders and an assortment of spinners and spoons. Scour the shore for local bait. I carry little tiny elastic bands used for braces to strap bugs to the shank of hooks. They wiggle their little legs like crazy trying to get away. I am going to hell!
