Hit the Elk River before the snow and temp dropped! I had a good (very lucky) day. This was on a #18 PT ... 3weight rod.

It starts in NC runs into TN empties into Watauga Lake. I fish both .

A size 18 pheasant tail nymph brings in a big ole' rainbow like that...VERY NICE! What a fantastic catch!
