What won’t bite a rooster tail?

I was fishing in a friend’s pond Saturday morning. I had one rod and a white rooster tail. I caught some small large mouths, several bluegill, and a good-sized crappie. Biggest crappie I’ve landed.

Best all around bait i know of. Van catch anything anywhere. Only thing close is maybe a white curly tail.

When fish die in water they turn white after soaking in water. Make sense?

Actually Crog, I'd be willing to bet it was more the color of your lure than the type. WHITE/Sunny day.

Just a hunch on my part.

Maybe as he reels the lure through or towards his shirt as backdrop it shows up more.

Egghead taught me that when targeting Lake Trout in Flaming Gorge last September. Man that was a cool place and Egg is super cool dude too.
