Went fishing at Spruce Run lake in No.no luck but still a good day.the wind was up and temp was comfortable.the sad part is there is no shore fishing.I went around most of the lake that had a trail and tried to get to the water without any luck one area by a parking lot had a little access the bad part you were high off the water and a lot of brush .beautiful lake but you need a boat which I don’t have ,so a lake I will have to cross off.to bad supposed to have pike and or musky with bass ,trout.anyone know of a shore are where you can fish
Looks like it doesn't have a boat ramp.
Also looks like you need permission to access.
Gated road in the Northeast corner.
Looks like Quarry lake from Google terrain Satellite.

It is a state park and a fee is required.not right now but in it he warm weather.there is a boat ramp always from the gate.I here that big fish have been caught there
I believe there is a large resort there. My Mom used to take her Ladies Group there. Perhaps they can either give you access to fish or tell you where you can.
Are you talking about Spruce Run in N.J ? If so fish the boat dock. I Have not fished there since the 90's and nolonger live in NJ. I had a fishing buddy and we used to fish on his boat
there. The best fishing for us was within casting range of the boat dock. We fished there on week days because we both had week days off from work. There were very few boats on the lake so fishing off the boat dock was not a problem . Bass , and hybrid bass , Crappie were all caught in the area within casting distance from the dock .
They don't let you fish the boat dock anymore, sadly.
Yes that is sad, there was a decent fishery there .
