Is it fine if I use more than one sinker for a Texas rig or a Carolina rig?

Well, if if you need 1/2 ounce weight to make a texas rig sink and all you have is 2 quarter ounce worm weights, I GUESS it will work ok. Just make sure to rig them a stream lined as possible and expect more hang ups....My 2cents.
It will work, but easier to get tangled and snagged and not cast as well. Apparently sense you are writing this and not fishing right now, go by a variety of weights before you go out again. Thrifty is good. Being cheap can bite back.
The only time I use weights back to back is on a Tokyo rig with a bead between them for added sound, and use tungsten, can use different weights, for a different weight
