Well guys, we got out to the lake and there were small whitecaps all over the lake. Launched and motored across to a little cove that was a little sheltered but not too much. Sure is nice to have "Spot Lock" on Jim's trollin motor.
Motored around till I found what I wanted on the fish finder. Start fishin and 5 min later Jim hooks the first fish of the day. Little lmb bout 1 1/2 pounds. We keep fishin and I boat a couple more and then we moved to another spot. Then Jim hooks up with his smallie, also bout 1 1/2 pounds. I catch a couple more and that was it for the rest of the day. 6 total for today but nothing over 1 1/2 pounds. Fact they all were bout that size. Good news is the wind calmed down later in the day and it was nice and warm.
Towards the end of the day we go back over near the dam and a pair of Bald Eagles were in the 2 big trees near the dam. You'll have to zoom in to see them. The 1 in the tree on the left is at the base of the big limb that comes into the tree on the left at bout a 90* angle.
The eagle in the right tree is closer to the top of the tree on the right. Bout the 7 o'clock position of the bushy tree top.
They're pretty hard to see, but they are there.

Is this “The Emperors New Fish”? I’ll play the part of the kid who says I don’t see anything.
