Anybody fishing off the Oceanside pier.
I was born and raised in Oceanside,Ca. The pier fishing the last 10-15 years is mostly mackerel, different rays and an occasional bass. You will get some croaker, surf perch and an occasional halibut. But still fun. If you go up on the pier and look down in the water between waves close to shore you can usually see fish there.
Still a relaxing way to kill a few hours.
