I know this is reaching but anyone know any good collapsible rods that can handle mid sized tilapia. I need to buy one for travel

I have a couple of 14' telescopic rods from Cabelas that I use when I travel for surf fishing. No issues after 10+/- yrs and have had them bent over to 90° several times.

Personally I consider tilapia to be on the order of trash fish. Tough, not flavorful and often farm raised in questionable conditions. Unless you are fishing in Ecuador where they occur naturally I wouldn’t bother
