Any tips on repairing leaky waders?

My waders are leaking at the knees, with no visible holes. I think just from wear and tear I’ve rubbed off the water proof coating on the inside. Is there a spray or adhesive I can use to recoat the inside?

Loan the leaky ones to your best ( NOT) buddy.

Just hope it’s dry before put them on again or may need it on something else

I have a few buddies that have tried the Flex Seal.. results have gone both ways.. up to you whether it's worth the $12.99 to try.

Wear contractors garbage bags, one on each leg, then get into the waders

Aquaseal, available at Bass Pro Shops, not too expensive.

Get a brite flashlight or spot and shine it from the inside out in the dark. Try stretching it a little if they're neoprene to find the leaks. Neoprene wears out (breaks down) and gets very small holes not necessary in the seams. This usually takes years if you take care of them by hanging them when storing. If this is whats happening probably time for new ones but the flex seal does sound like it may work. Maybe try it if its only leaking in one area.

Use “Goop”. Can’t tell you how many things that I have fixed with this product through the years. Doesn’t seem to matter which kind of Goop I use.

Not flexseal. It cracks Use Shoe Goo. I never leave home without it. Very adhesive and mildly flexible
