Ever been in the middle of a jungle, on top of a mountain 12,000 miles from big city lights? It looks like the entire sky is going to fall on you. It is definitely Magnificent and awe inspiring. Thanks for the memory Spirit.

Naw, nothing bad. I remember looking up at all those stars and wondering why anyone would want to go to war and the sky is so beautiful. Not just there but all over the world. Then it became daylight.

The night sky is a sit to see. Can't see this in the city. Hope you enjoy.

That is a spectacular photo, Gordon. Thank you for sharing. Having grown up in the city, I still remember as a kid the first time backpacking in the woods, setting up camp in a clearing and laying in my bag outside the tent staring up at a cloudless, moonless night sky, seeing the milky way for the first time with no light pollution to distract the view. It was so unbelievably surreal!

Jeremy, you have no idea what youโ€™re talking about. Myself and all the other door gunners would be the only ones shooting from an aircraft, and it wouldnโ€™t be at each other. You need to read up on your Vietnam war history. The End!
