A friend, who I told about this website and hopefully will join, sent me this interesting video. Interesting the lazy attitude of the fish and how many must ignore our presentations.

Since link didn't go blue for instant view, will have to type in the info. Enjoy.

Interesting video. That seems to be the norm lately. Fish are lock jawed more often than not.

It worked for me AB, interesting video. It looked like the Bass took the spoon a couple of times. Hard to believe they would pass up the minnow.
Thanks for posting the video.
FYI- I use Windows 8.1 and Firefox for my Browser.

Really interesting video AB, it played well with my antiquated iPad, I too like Blackdog am surprised they didn’t take the sucker.
He needed a minnow head on that Daredevle, but I am sure he was just illustrating what the pike was seeing. A fish won’t typically hit a dangling piece of hardware and was probably spooked to begin with. It is a different world under the ice, for sure.
I have never had much luck using a dare devil as a jig. On the other hand, I have had outstanding luck using one as a casting lure. It has been a killer on king salmon in western rivers for me, and a pike killer as well. I am guessing, but I believe a marabou jig would have brought more fish through the ice. I also think the minnow would have been more effective if livelier. It appeared the pike were responding to quicker movement. That was an awesome video.
