I don't know if anyone else stayed up to watch the Tide and the Aggies football game or not but I did, and it ended way past my bedtime, but it was worth it. The final score was Aggies, 41, and the Tide 38. It was one of the best college FB games that I have seen. The Tide was ranked #1 in the country and the Aggies had a 3-2 record, and they were playing with their backup quarterback and some other key positions missing. Their center and two guards were freshmen. Obviously, neither team had any defence. A great game and I am a Tide fan.

Gmon FG. I didn't see it. I was watching baseball but fell asleep before it ended. Sounds like a replacement game. You need heart to win. This time the TIDE was going out 😉😉.

I wonder what they will be ranked, Georgia will probable be #1. Where is CDB?
Not sure he's usually on top of this 👍👍
Unfortunately I switched over to baseball as I had my “football fix” during the day. Lots of offense, but this must be what the NCAA wants as the defenses seem to be handicapped by the rules. Lots of injuries, though and not sure what that is attributed to…

I watched in spurts, 'Bamas defense was so bad I had to switch to stop the pain. Georgia will be ranked #1 and they also have the best defense in the country. Losing to an unranked team won't help 'Bamas status

My thought on that, John, was if the Aggies needed a break, someone would take an injury time out. They would leave the game one play, and then come back and rip someone. (MHO) I have seen that many times in all sports.

That is certainly an apparent strategy in most sports. It started in soccer with all the flopping…perhaps the officials are rebelling against it? They say the games are taking too long, but this doesn’t help. Just saying.
