I used to think that until I had consistent proof that it didn't pull me through hard times. I pulled myself through those times. But that's just my experiences.

I'm with you g. I think you know that. Almost 74 years, no church no belief system no prayers. Life hasn't been a cakewalk, but it could have been much worse. If I'm wrong and sometime in the future I "meet my maker", she's got some splaining to do. Pray in one hand and crap in the other - see which one fills up first. That's what my grand dad and daddy taught me. I would have been that kid with the umbrella, not to keep the rain off, but to point out how rediculous every one looked when nothing happened.

I agree with you 100% and just one added clarification Faith is only as good as the object of your faith and Hope is only as good as trustworthiness of the source of your hope and Love never fails.
