New to area looking for any fishing tips.
Pull Google maps with earth maps of the area you are willing to travel to.
Good hunting. You'll find plenty of places.

A good idea, Pixie. Welcome to the Forum, L.
Prescott area has several
good trout lakes, plus one other,
small (3-acre ?) lake/pond (Mingus Lake) on the ridge via Rt. 89-A to Jerome ! Around Prescott there is Watson/Willow/ Goldwater/Lynx
and (also very small) Fain Lake !
About 2 hrs. north (up to, then
20 min. south of Flagstaff) are Kinnickinnic Lake, Ashurst, and Upper/Lower Lake Mary ! All four
hold trout - Ashurst also has
channel cats and pike, and Upper
Lake Mary is mixed-bag, including bass, 'cats', pike and walleye !
Verde Valley area has the Verde
River and 'Oak Creek', and just
north of Camp Verde is 'Wet
Beaver Creek' - the creeks hold
trout and the river is 'mixed-bag' !
Hope this helps !
