I've never tried them. Some one this site talk about using them. Should get some good feed back soon.

I use Pro-Cure scent for Saltwater fish, and for Freshwater Trout, haven't used or tried the other brand you mentioned , I believe it helps with Saltwater fishing , Freshwater for me it's 50-50, but Pro-Cure comes in so many different scents is what I believe works for me.
Hey there Billy,
Saw that one coming from around the corner π
Most scents add to your experience.
Scents are like walking down through the shopping mall. Some girls you pass smell really good, and you turn your head and maybe even check them out.
You can even catch large mouth bass with a plastic worm dipped in gasoline.
Bug spray with deet will most definitely turn fish away. Be careful!

Been using pro cure scent for some time on the diesel Z Man baits. I like the results.

Looks like spellcheck got you. Be sure you review your message. Apparently you meant scents.

I started using scents for salmon fishing because the fish weren't hitting my lures hard enough to hook them most of the time. So I got some bloody tuna garlic scent and they were swallowing the lure. This year I have still been getting light hits but have landed 18 Coho salmon and have lost quite a few, but they seem to be hitting the lures more. I use anise oil for trout and steelhead and my buddy uses anise oil and WD40 mixed together for trout and it works great.
I use Pro Cure menhaden for surf striper fishing.

Straight WD-40
Yes, but he mixes it with anise oil too. I saw him just spray WD40 on his worm and it works, they hit it.
