The most ridiculous caveat I hear in drug ads is the phrase...."Do Not take if allergic to the ingredients*".
#1.....well.. DUH !!!
#2..... just how, without suffering consequences, will I know if I am allergic to something you just created ?
#3.... proprietary ingredients, unknown to the consumer due to "secret combines", patents, etc., are both healing and/or could result in death...... now there's a quandary, huh ?
All the above and so much more to contemplate. My aversion to ANY prescription medication is based on how much "fine print" describing side effects the drug has. Healing/helpful claims are usually in direct proportion to the # of disclaimers.
As I have long chided my older biochemist brother....."so just how do "Doan's Back Pills" know where your back IS ?"...... hehehe.
