Total bust. The ramps are all closed, so absolutely no boats on the lake. The front of the dam is totally exposed. Access to the shore is slim to none because the lake has withdrawn about 10 or 15 feet in the last week or so and there is nothing but ankle deep mud all along the lakefront. In 23 years of fishing that lake I've never seen it like this. I won't be returning til maybe next spring if we get decent snow in the Sierras this winter. They're still renting the boats that are already in the water. That could be an option if I get desperate.
Bummer, better luck next time!

Sorry to hear that Spirit. Wish we could share our rainfall with you guys.
Hope you get some snow this winter Spirit. Like Fred said I wish we could send you some of our rain
Well dog gone it all...that is a bugger. Way back, many decades ago, I don't think that many of us gave much thought to water levels...it seems like they were reasonably stable at all times. Times have certainly changed...
I wish that the "beam me up" (Star Trek) capability was possible. If it was, I'd give you my "earth coordinates" and beam you horizontally over to Michigan for a few days before the snowflakes begin to turn us white! Our water levels were low a few years ago but have bounced back so far.

The water situation here is depressing Spirit, I certainly hope things improve.
