Are you planning on fishing the ocean side or Barnagat Bay side. There are several good bait shops in the area, any one can give you good information. I've fished the ocean side few times during tournaments and caught blues and stripers. Also have kingfish in the surf. Check out the inlets and Island Beach State Park.
