Wow Steve! That’s a day of catching worth remembering. 70 fish total—that only happened once to me when the blues were running in the sound. 5 guys caught 140 fish. I caught 28.

It was a busy morning for sure. That averages bout 1 fish ever 4 min. between the 2 of us.

I have my own business and keep a pole in my truck. Had a client on a private pond. He saw my pole in the truck and encouraged me to go ahead and try my luck. I caught ten perch, changed the lure and caught 8 bass. All were in the 8-10” range in 30 minutes. I had to go but it was fast and furious. I never made it back there but it was great while it lasted.

That sounds so cool. That's why you always need to have a pole in your truck.
Sounds like maybe we could plan on a day during the week sometime and hit the Petaluma early one morning. Wouldn't have to stay all day, just till noon time or so if it would work better for ya.

Nice fish! You're having better luck with stripers than I am on the Sacramento. I just can't find them and it's getting frustrating. Got any tips?

Well buddy, I've never fished over there. Would like to but never have had the opportunity and I'm just not familiar with where or what to use over there.
However, we always use Spro 65s Aruku Shad lures in blue chrome and they work really good on the Napa.
We were even trollin with them Sat.
