Monday's conditions were favorable so we gave her one last shot. Had a good day out there! Limited out by about 2. We had 6 fish over 5 lbs. Sad to put the gear away but it's time to move on to bow season. Soon after that pheasant season! Before we know it we'll be in Florida chasing redfish, snook and speckled trout. Life is good!

After them storms yesterday I bet Eire is pretty rough today 😁 good luck on the deer hunting man. they just started stocking pheasants out by where I'm from last year may have to try it out this year. Since the state is buying this Central Ohio Coal property I'm hoping they bring back the Bob White quail around here 😁👍

I once loved the deer woods, either with a bow or sitting on stand with a firearm. Here in Minnesota, there are parts where up to five deer can be harvested but only one buck per person. We had 160 acres in a lease, only to have a cop think that his pals could put deer stands all over. At one time it was decided the cops group were able to follow a 1930's logging trail to his land. He is land locked, spent years crossing property that he thought was state land. only to find someone did own the land. The land owner told the Game warden they could hunt the property. only to keep peace. BS. I have a fishing guide service and would rather spend time with people on a lake catching walleyes or whatever we can get on a hook now.
Fall is a great time to be on a river, lots of fall run walleyes. At one time I would donate thousands of dollars in fishing trips to police groups. but because of the actions of a few. never again will I give away a dime to those people. As a follower of Christ it pains me. But I refuse to be slapped over and over and called a fool.

Sorry to hear that a few can mess it up for you. In Marines used to say there is always that 10% that screws everything up ect. That was in mid 60s and do be it’s almost correct. I try to keep most of my donations local and know who's receiving it. I loved the early season hunts and fishing. Don’t do the hunting because of health and not much fishing but hoping to get back to fishing. You have a blessed Fall and fishing. Take Care
