Try to private messaging (PM) egghead. I haven't seen any posts from him in months but he was fishing the gorge quite often.

Wish I was going with you! I’d fish Jarves Canyon. As you head there from boat ramp, there’s a point in middle where we’d camp. On your right is a cliff wall. Great fishing along that stretch of wall. Troll & stop & jig. There’s a good chance there are Ospreys nesting on top of the cliff. If it’s springtime, they’ll be feeding the chicks. You can sit & jig while the Ospreys dive bomb the water around you. Then they’ll pop out with a good size rainbow trout or mackinaw in their talons. Watch how they always turn fish head into the wind for aerodynamics! My fishing buddy, a Boxer, loved sitting in the john boat watching. I’d realize my mouth was open in awe seeing these birds in action! The kids will love it!
If you’re trolling, the deeper the bigger. Just keep in mind it’s easy to get snagged if too low. Best to jig on bottom. At night, off that rounded point in the middle, you’ll hear huge rainbows coming up for flies & crashing back down. Sounds like someone doing a cannonball in a pool! You can catch giant trout with a fly rod or by using conventional lures as shiny Rapalas & spinner baits. Enjoy your trip & Tight Lines!
