When do the salmon move from Lake Michigan into surrounding tributaries to spawn?

I know it’s in the fall, but late September? Mid October? Around when are they in the tributaries?

You are correct in the time frames mentioned thus far, and I have even observed spawning salmon in November...those primarily being coho, as the chinooks are pretty much "toast" by then.

In Berrien Springs they have already started at the dams.
