Thanks Fourchon. It’s been raining here on and off since I got up at 0500. I’ve been in the backyard making a trench larger to let the water out faster. It’s starting to rain harder now. I haven’t heard where that 20” of rain is going but I think we will get a lot of it. I’m very concerned about the winds too. If it takes my roof, I want it to take most of it. I need a new one...🤞

I hope and pray it doesn’t get that bad. It’s coming ashore tonight in Matagorda and by tomorrow morning we’ll be getting the high winds and rain. One of my concerns is it staying offshore and growing to hurricane strength. If that happens we’ll not get much rest around here for sure. Thanks for remembering Donovon. He called this past Thursday and said the tumor is gone and he will have three more weeks of tests to ensure it’s completely gone. Thank you for your prayers Fourchon.
