I spread out a small appetizer for you folks that eat Sashimi, Blackened Redfish, Carp, and saltwater Catfish........enjoy
Very high quality protein. A study was done a while back of some Tibetan monks who claimed that they were able to be healthy on a diet consisting of rice and spring water. Rice does not provide complete proteins which humans need to survive. The folks investigating found that the monks' rice supply was loaded with weevils. A complete protein.
Bon appétit.
Mmmm...looks like some nice bait for fishing! If my identification capabilities are working...you've got some "mealworms" there. Once in a while when I open a new bag of baking flour, I find a few of those rascals hanging out inside and it makes me want to discard the whole bag! Not sure if they would really cause any harm, but I don't like the idea that they were living inside of the flour!
I used to be a dishwasher at a high end restaurant, and when we worked a long shift the chef allowed us to select a nice dinner from the menu...which came with a "mini" loaf of bread. So...I'm sitting on an overturned 5 gallon bucket in the stock room enjoying a shark dinner, and as I cut open the loaf of bread...there inside was baked a giant black cricket! I'm glad that loaf did not end up being served to a guest!

If you've eaten the fish I listed you've already got a belly full of worms
The Gils and Crappie sure like them.

You got chickens huh?
No, my wife buys them for her bird feeders.....I had them in a 5 gal bucket with a lid, but apparently they put off a gas and actually broke the seal and got moldy, so I decided to make a nice platter
My friend in Clearwater, the Finn, catches and smokes salt water cats. He has sent me several samples of his work and I find it to be delicious. I sure haven't noticed any worms in it.

Some folks will do anything to snag a friend.....I don't know if saltwater cats have worms and have no desire to find out...anyone that can't catch the good stuff and settles for nasty catfish is not someone I respect
Best to keep'm warm in your mouth when fishing. They will wiggle longer. 🤪
