Well, we did it and made it back alive! I must say Spirit27 is the nicest on my badass (get off my lawn) list of friends. Now this still puts him in the badass list of Stagers, don’t get me wrong. So I would encourage you to not mess with his lawn, stay out of his kitchen, etc.
Did we catch anything? We caught a beautiful river, more geese than you can count (deciding our fishing spot was their landing spot) and a nice morning in the Sierras. So yeah, I think we limited. Looking forward to the next trip with “27”! Is the skunk gone? It depends on what you’re fishin for.
Thanks Paul for taking the time.
Yet to catch a trout. We'll find some. It was starting to get hot when we called time yesterday. Got to 106 under my magnolia yesterday afternoon. I think we're ready for some fall. We need to find a cool deep hole somewhere. That's where they're hangin out I think. We had a good time and we're planning on doing it again.+

It’s good to hear you guys had a good time. Sometimes we just need to concentrate more on the trip, and less on the destination.
I’m going to scope out Chili Bar to Coloma for access. That will be where the river narrows and above the area where the rafters stage. Need good access though.
Stay tuned!
Glad you guys got out. You’ll get them next time. Geese make pretty good jerky 😉
Glad you guys had a good time, and survived. Did you bring a rabbit? Our weather thinks it's October already, wish I could send you some, in exchange for some heat. Better luck next time fellas. (Don't forget the rabbit)
glad you guys had a great time. Hot here also we need RAIN,RAIN AND MORE RAIN. Sometimes fishing isn't about catching its about just good times with friends.
Echoing the above comments! Sounds like you enjoyed the excursion...and that is what really matters when you boil it all down! Best wishes when you get a chance to return for the next challenge someplace!
Sounds like you guys had a good time an sometimes it's nice just to relax and enjoy the water. As far as the geese go a guy at our american legion halls wild game Feed makes baked steak goose breast. I like it but you better like the taste of liver 😁👍 OJ I've never head Goose jerky.
Glad you guys had a nice day together. I never could understand why some folks have a food shortage when we have thousands of geese pooping on every golf course around.😄😄
Spirit did you break out the bailess?
Good on you guys getting out and giving it a whirl! Nice pic guys!
