Hello...Dave is it? My 1st day here, with this site. My 1st time opening my mouth to finally seek some advice, maybe a teeny bit of guidence, share some of your knowledge of when to start and how you prepare for the late spring run salmon through the winter steelhead run. What lures work best....or bait's? Favorite fishing spots, especially if any of them are accessible for an ol disabled life in long Washington State resident and fisherman. Catching Salmon from the Pacific ocean through the mouth of the mighty Columbia river and even most, if not all the tributariel branches one being my favorite the Cowlitz, Lewis, Kalama, and Toutle rivers. I am a...,🤔😎...I was a pretty damn good fisherman...,😫 til I was about 42 yrs of age and ... Aww brother! I lost..I lost a lot. I lost pretty much everything except my ability to function. Nope! Death would have been too easy. Only the best for me. So if functioning alerted me to pain and suffering on a daily..lol lol lol ON an hourly schedule, Murphy's law..you know? Just for a little fun...a bit of shits and giggles as they say I kept adding a loss here, placing a girlfriend or two in the arms of the other man, and disciplining myself by grounding myself from touching, flirting, kissing, holding hands, dating, and the really really sweetest of sweetness of acts..😩😭 Getting hitched so she can be cooking cleaning doing the laundry and tucking me in bed. Truth, you're an animal in the fishing game. I have spent two years texting and communicating my desire for information to set me in the right direction to for a Washington State Disabled Fishing License. It's like...here you were and the first thing that came to my mind was this is probably my last chance. So I said, Larry! And here we are. I'm technically a veteren of the United States Army. I employed as a full faze building contractor, sub contracted with 800 plus properties not including my dad's and grandfather's properties. September 11, 2001 and 3000 miles away, and while news of the first plane hitting the Twin Towers wasn't 30 minutes old I was constructing as third floor on an 1850's home in N. Portland Oregon. actual term.. double dormer we xtention. A hired roofing company shuttled the architectural roofing materials onto the roof and did not equally stack them to the peak. Just want to go fishing again

Well, first of all welcome to the stage. I’m not really the one to give you advice pertaining to salmon and steelhead fishing. I gave up on them about 5 years ago when they started to become scarce. The numbers just aren’t there anymore. So now I fish for Kokanee…🐟on
