yep like two years ago.....aw yes those where the good old days when you could actually see someone's face and no one was asking for your personal medical records in order to eat in a restaurant or fly on a plan. I can remember when I could wear my glasses with out having them fog up by wearing a mask and actually wear my hearing aids with out them being pulled off with the mask....aw yes those were the days. But at last I fear they are gone forever it is sad that my grandkids and great grandkids will not enjoy the freedom of making their own medical choices or the freedom of going maskless in public places

naw just pokeing a little fun at our current situation with all the nanny state mandates that at this point and most likely at any point is and was a non productive chicken little response born out of unreasonable fear and weakness. Do I think that some form of sanity will be restored? I sure hope so I hope we aren't locked into this foolishness by what you so accurately describe as "weak people" who get their satisfaction and self worth by telling others what to do.

Regardless of reported effectiveness, my wife and I both wear masks when we are out in the public. We also have had all our shots and even the boosters. Just Sayin...RJS

I'm up for the booster when maderna's comes out. Did you get any ill effects?

Foodfisher: I have had my second and booster of Maderna. So has my wife. She had not side effects. I had some soreness and for a day felt like my left arm was going to fall off. Not to worry though, it was just proof they had not given me a shot of sterile water! Just Sayin....RJS

I am mostly referring to what my grandkids have to face. even though they now say an unv******ted child is as unlikely to catch c***d as a 40 year old who is fully v******ted yet they still have to wear masks and are going to be required to be v******ted in order to attend school and if anyone in their class happens to have a positive test for c***d they have to stay home for 10 days and have a negative c***d test in order to return. To put this in perspective the 40 year old who is fully v******ted and has the same risk of getting c***d as the unv******ted child if they are exposed do not have to go into quarantine and do not need to be tested unless they happen to show symptoms. They have shown that a child is not that likely to catch or spread c***d and if they do get it very rare they have complications unless they have some underlying factor. Completely different risk factor for kids than for someone our age yet they are treating them the same which is complete foolishness. it has also been shown for kids to wear a mask all day has it's own sets of risks but this is not really about what is best for the kids so non of these things are taken into consideration
