restoring 1984 ranger

How is the best way to restore tbe finish. mostly the top part that has been exposed to the sun. bottom great shape. tks

If it's beyond buffing Howard, but the underlying colors are still good, wet sanding is the normal cure. After wet sanding, either buff it out, or shoot a coat or 2 of clear over it. Good luck.
