How do you clean a catfish. They don't have scales, right? Are they easy to skin like other fish?

Cats do not have scales, and yes majority of people skin them with pliers or special pliers you buy for skinning fish, the Catfish that are caught in moving water are always better tasting imo.

My dad cleaned a bullhead once(catfish wanna be) to show me. He skinned it but I was a kid so don't remember. Don't want to get stuck by those spines on the fins, burns. It tasted real good tho.
