Last day of August. Trying out some new lures, equipment and tactics. Launched out of Cattaragus creek and found the fish suspended 65'-75' in about 90' of water. Put 10 nice fish in the box. Lost 3 at the boat. Tight lines everyone!

Congrats on the good day Bob. Last time I was out, Erie was angry like a washing machine full of tennis shoes!

I like the inside decor of your cooler! Great morning on the big lake and several nice meals for your efforts! Thank goodness for modern electronics to help locate the fish...those rascals were really deep! Thanks for sharing!

Couldn’t tell east from west, sorry for the misidentification, in either respect…. a beautiful photo.

Whitey,
New tactics= using downriggers to get our presentation down below the suspended active fish. When you mark a school drop the rigger and bounce it off bottom, break it off the clutch and bring the fluttering lure up through the water column and fish. We were hooking up more than 40% of the attempts!

Looks like it worked out for ya guys can't say that I've ever heard of it. Bottom bouncer yes not using a downrigger to bounce across the bottom
