You have it easy, a map, depth finder, and you and your boat should be able to find fish. Here in the swamps of the basin, you can have all those things and still not find fish. In fact you might not find your way in or out of some of the places I have been. I've been fishing the Atchafalaya basin since the early 70's. I left for a while, and came back to a whole new place, or so it seems. Just to get to one of the best lakes, I have to go thru 4 different bayou's. Yrs back, just one!

Hey Jose, welcome to the stage. I have a sister that lives in Fate Texas. I use to come visit her for the month of September for dove season but since Covid I haven't been there. Next time I'm gonna be there I'll try to get in touch with you and we can wet a line together. Hope you find some local guys to fish with soon. Good luck and post pics of your catch when you can.

There are some guys that live near Dallas on the stage. Look them up on the user list and PM them.
