Kayak: Sit-in seat replacement

Currently needing to replace my seat in my ascend fs12 sit-in kayak, and no I'm not looking to replace the whole thing for a sit-on kayak hah. Anyone have any suggestions for it? Im having trouble with ideas for it because it's not the typical molded plastic with a foam pad seat, it's a removable framed seat. I'm thinking about getting one of those stadium chairs from Walmart, but not 100% sure how I'd rig to be held in place.

I use a stadium chair. I use bungee cords to hold it in place I have never had a problem.

I use a stadium type seat I got from Wal-Mart. Academy has a nice one too.
Made a pvc pipe frame to hold it up. Look on YouTube for ideas.
