4, been thinking about you and the approaching big blow coming your way. I know you are more inland hope the hatches are batten down and don't want to see you on the news.

Just in case have the boat within swimming distance to the house just in case.

Plum, is Four inland? I was looking at Port Fourchon which is not a good place to be right now.

Last big blow that was headed his way he had mentioned he was further inland from rising water. He will get the winds and rains but i believe safe from the surge.

Thanks for the kind words and genuine concern. It one of the best things I love about this site. Have everything put away and are about twenty miles north of Baton Rouge. Tested the generator and are hunkered down. Helped the neighbors out with some plywood and putting away things to heavy for them to pick up. This too shall pass and we’ll be okay. Just praying for those south of us who aren’t as fortunate as we are.

Back on days. Had been in Point Comfort Texas the past three days on a job at a chemical plant. The site I was on nights is now idling as they don’t have any cogeneration. The others I work at do and reduce rates and can island themselves.

Thanks FF. The rain is a major concern as are the tornadoes off of the bands. We prepare for this every May and June before the season really hits. You should se what everyone is running around doing at the last minute. It’s insane.
