Had a good day Saturday. Daughters boyfriend caught the bluegill It was nice one. I caught 3 Bass sorry about the second and forth pics being the same.

Threw about everything in the bag at them. Early in the day ( 1 PM) I caught the last fish on a Light colored paddle tail swim bait 2nd cast using that bait. Couple more bites but no hook ups. Decided to try different color no luck. Tried deep shallow nothing working. Around 5pm thru on a dark purple power bait paddle tail worm with blue flake wacky rigged. Boom bite bite bite. But no hook up then I caught the first one and was still getting hit so I had the kids come in and we rigged them up and that's when Kurt caught the Gill. I kept getting hit on the same setup until we left at dark. Caught 2 that way probably missed 40or more. Whats the secret to getting them hooked up on a wacky rig.

Looks good Ben. I like using a Aberdeen hook for panfish

Yep all the bass from the dock Kurt got the Gill from the Kayak. I wasn't on that lake but they said it was a large gill. They had fun when he hooked up a turtle. Sucked the kayak down and drug him all over the lake. My daughter was still laughing when we got home.

Nice fish Ken. You should said you caught identical twins. Talking about dragging the yak around reminded me of a day at the river. I was on a high bank watching 3 people in a small flat bottom. Whatever they hooked pulled them up n down bank to bank for nearly an hr. Line broke n they never saw what it was. I figured a big carp. The Potomac river had some BIG carp. 🎣🎣

If you're trying for panfish on a wacky rig, downsizing the worm should help. Try 3 or 4 inch worms.

Wow, that’s crazy! I wonder who was more worn out from the fight, them or whatever it was?

Now another trip to the bait store. It was very unexpected that they started hitting that much just by changing technique and bait color.
