We had a fun trip out of Kenosha WI. yesterday morning leaving the marina at 5:00 am we went out about 12 miles and a little north. They got 10 rods set out by about 5:40 and had the first hit on one within ten minutes only to come unbuttoned on the way in. First steelhead in the boat within 5 minutes later. We were salmon fishing but only got one small king. It was great having 3 doubles and a triple hookup at one point. Sad to say that when the full sun came out around 9:30 things really slowed up for us. 12 fish in the boat and 9 that came unbuttoned on the way to the boat. I think it was a pretty good day on Lake Michigan. Ended up with 6 steelheads, 5 nice Laker's and a small king. Looking forward to trying it again next year.
