The test my daughter took was evidently wrong
She started feeling sick and took a home test
POSITIVE

She and her husband both have covid
both are feeling better
now we will have to wait and see
BTW
neither my wife nor I have had any symptoms

yes everybody has had the shots
including the ggd that exposed us
she however is not having any ill effects at all
daughter and son in law are both feeling well now
so it is evident that the shots may not keep you from gettin covid
but the shots will definitely make it a lot easier on you
I for one wish everyone would get vaccinated

Sorry to hear about the botched test Bobby, but very glad they've both had their shots. Mild symptoms are a whole lot better than being in the Hospital, breathing thru a machine.
Also glad you and Mama have no symptoms, stay strong my friend.

It is a misfortune we may end up positive but odds of how sick and all the rest of details have proven if can medically get the vaccines will be better off.

These rapid tests seem to be unreliable at best. So many false positives/negatives. My daughter had “covid toes” early on , confirmed by two doctors (google them) but tested negative more than once. The medical field still hasn’t figured this illness out. I was in Florida when it first came out and was sick as a dog for three days but didn’t have the antibodies when tested.

I read an article the other day that might help explain that. As I understand it there are 4 types of corona virus. The common cold is one. Sars that was bad over in Asia a few years ago is another there is a MERS and another I cant remember. Covid 19 is a type of SARS a think. Any or all of these may test positive. Talked to my daughter who is a nurse over the weekend. Tues they had 6 cases in the hospital 13 Wed and 23 by the end of the day Thursday. Sister in law is a Lab tech of some type in a children's hospital and says they a seeing sick kids now also.

I honestly believe theres another reason cases in Texas are spiking. I’ll leave it right there.
Hopefully your family members recover quickly.
