Amos and Johnny go Snook fishing

It was an absolutely gorgeous day on the Caloosahatchee River. The sun was glistening off the water. The snook were hitting at least every other cast.

As the flat bottomed jon boat drifted lazily under the Midpoint Bridge, Amos noticed a funeral procession passing by overhead. So he quickly reeled in his line, stood up, removed his hat and respectfully placed it over his heart. Johnny was struck by this and said, “I’ve never seen you like this. I’m impressed.” To which Amos responded, “It was the least I could do. We were married for thirty years.”

I really enjoy (most of) the humor on this forum. It’s the first place I go to for a good laugh. Just am happy to be able to add to it.

Good Jokes have to blindside you. Laughter is good for the body, Lowers Blood Pressure and kills Stress. A lot like fishing.
