It's only been 3 weeks since I placed my order for my new boat. My dealer said that "it might be here by Thanksgiving but more likely Christmas." I'm trying to be patient but that's not really my strong suit.

Hopefully we will have some of those beautiful days that we occasionally get in January and I'll be able to take the boat out for the break in period. I suspect I will need to do a lot of parking lot practicing backing this thing as it is a lot longer and MUCH taller than my previous boats.

Oh well, thanks for listening to me whine. Have a great day my friends.

Good morning Papa J, I know you must be excited about the boat. It will come soon enough. It is always good to get the frustration out of your system. Have a great day. Waiting for the rain to stop so I can try out the new fishing hole. Have a great day🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I bought a new truck this spring .F150XLT super crew 4x4
The back up routine I had with my old truck has changed. Getting into my narrow driveway has proven more challenging than it was . And I have the auto trailer back up deal. Haven’t quite got it figured out yet.
I have to park pretty accurately. Too far right and I have problems with trash cans . Too far left and I have problems with lawn mower.
Doesn’t help my back and neck are so stiff that I can’t turn and look out the rear window.
I lose visual at a critical time when I’m actually lining up with driveway using mirrors and back up camera.

The nice thing is that the longer boat/trailer combo will be easier to back up as your sight lines will be that much better. I drove a semi and the 53’ trailers were easier to back up than the shorter units. Just remember…a little adjustment of the wheel goes a LONG way 😉

Hate to ask but I have never bought a new boat if you don't get it until the new ones come out it will depreciate before you even get to use it. I would try to get money back from them or maybe they can give you some perks just don't seem right without some compensation

I doubt if you will have any problems backing a longer trailer. They respond easier than short ones. A couple of good ground guides would be a good idea. This is where walkie talkies shine. Remember, if you can't see your guide,he can't see you. STOP!!!

Hey PJ. I'm sure you've told us what you're getting but I have CRS. Could you tell us again and maybe post a pic of the boat? I'm happy for you and hope you get it soon.
