Simply gorgeous place to cast today. Been to the catch and release of Paint Creek at The Mahan exit, this place was new to me. I was blessed to find this spot. Dang, in less than thirty minutes, wading just knee deep mid stream, I quit counting and taking pics after a dozen, mostly smallmouth and a few rock bass using a green mister twister with a pink jig head. Probably around fifteen realistically.
FYI, awesome trout fishing along Paint Creek, caught a bunch in the spring, nice rainbow legit 13” two weeks ago.
